Your exercises

You will take part in the following exercises where you will receive very detailed and personalised feedback that will help you when applying for future roles. Please take time to familiarise yourself with what’s involved for each exercise and click here to see some of the key competencies that employers would like you to demonstrate in this process.

The interview

You will take part in a 1:1 interview, via video conference, which will last 10 minutes. In advance of the interview, please think about the type of role or industry you would like to work in, and the skills required for this. You will not need to share your CV during the interview.

The group exercise

The group exercise is a collaborative task where you will work together as a group on a time-sensitive task. You will be presented with a scenario that requires you to make decisions and contribute your suggestions. As a group, you will review, discuss, and agree on what actions to take. You will then share these actions with the assessor, along with a brief explanation of your rationale.

The presentation

You will present a 5-minute pre-prepared presentation via video conference to the assessor and a group of your peers. The assessor will ask you questions lasting up to 5 minutes. You can use PowerPoint to support your presentation. The assessor will invite you to share your screen when it is your turn to present. Please download your presentation ready to the desktop of the device you will be using during the assessment centre.
