A real employer’s interview may last up to an hour. In this assessment centre experience, you will have a 10 minute interview to give you a snapshot of ‘typical’ practice. It will give you an insight into the types of questions you may be asked at a real interview.
This exercise requires preparation before the event.
The group exercise is a very common exercise in a real assessment centre. Though assessed individually, you will work collaboratively with your peers towards a particular objective. This exercise looks to view your teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.
You do not need to prepare anything for this exercise.
In a real assessment centre, you may be asked to deliver a presentation that demonstrates your skills. For this assessment centre experience, you will prepare a presentation prior to the event. You will work individually and will present to your assessor and a small group of peers.
