These reflect what real employers are using during the recruitment process for graduate roles.

Emotional intelligence

The ability to understand and manage your own and other’s strengths and development areas to communicate effectively, empathise and take action.

Commercial awareness

An understanding of industry and how you can add value to an organisation.

Motivation / Drive for results

The ability to push things forward to achieve higher results. A passion and enthusiasm to push through tasks in the face of difficulties.

Communication

The ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas and listen to the views of other people.
